I really think some people this little tool can be very helpful. It is easy to transport and works very well. One thing I really want to change is the distance from the side edge of the scanner to the line that begins in the scan area. It will not be a problem if you just need a piece of paper with the table scan. But when you try to scan a page in a book / magazine thick, you will immediately feel the pain, because the scan area can not cover the entire page. As you can imagine, if you keep the scanner and move it from top to bottom on the page in a book, you can move the scanner too far to the left so that the scan range covers the entire page, because most you can do is touch the edge of the scanner in the middle of the book as a result will not cover the scanned image is often two sides of the page. It is extremely painful, and almost unusable. I've tried to scan from left to right (instead of top to bottom), but it has its own problems (like you need to rotate the image, and rotate in different ways depending on even or odd page). This is obviously a design flaw. If the product testers tried to scan book, they will immediately see the problem. ABBYY Screenshot Reader does not connect to my Windows 7 edition (there are no instructions to tell, which version of OS software) to work. I installed it anyway, but then found that it can not be opened.
