If you have movies that you need from this MB I have purchased this product to digitally transparent slide my parents, so we can easily see them. How many people have a broken slide at home? Slides were "in" what is already in the 60s and 70s, so each one pile in the basement. The cheapest price for the slides that I took was to send, 0.19 cents per unit, so not an option if you have over 2000 plus. It is so easy that I could not believe it. It came with the scanner software, and you can connect directly to a computer but simply an SD card and then paste it into your computer when you are finished. The scanner comes with adjustments, but I left it on default settings and it worked great. The screen is quite small, but it lets you see what you do. It takes longer to put the slides into the cradle so to scan it (about 5 seconds to scan each slide). I have about 420 slides in about 2 hours 1 day is so fast the scan quality is only as good as the blade itself, but it is always better than the films in a box in the basement and no one is watching. If you are the fastest and cheapest way to get digital slides is your machine. The scanner works well on the negative. Just change the setting on the scanner and your business. 33 of 33 customers found this review helpful. Large scans, tray slide miserable RLR I bought this scanner on the positive reviews on Amazon basis. I've been three days, and I found the scans to super-fast and good quality, but slide the tray on three stations of torture. It's the only reason why I knocked my rating down from five stars to three. There are two problems with the set. First, the recesses are shaped to the blade too small to store slides tedious and requires much more attention than it should. Second, the tray hard to open - I've always afraid I'll break the plastic when you remove the image 39 of 42 people found this review helpful. John E. Good scanner Hetsch who bought this product, do not expect good results, but I was wrong. Right out of the box, it was easy to use. Instructions from the left a little to be desired, but with some programs, it is very easy to use. It's pretty simple. SCANNER I have had this now for over a week and so far, I scanned in a thousand and 1,500 slides, all with excellent results. The color is exactly like the original SLIDE KODACHROME. Three or four years, I bought a Canon scanner that I scan more than four thousand color slides, but it is big and bulky and must be connected to the computer. It costs much more than just scanning a bit but did not give better results. I would definitely recommend this browser to anyone who wants to preserve the image.
